About AIpedia
What AIpedia is
AIpedia is an independent editorial encyclopedia of artificial-intelligence tools. We review, compare, and rate more than 250 products across 22 categories — from conversational assistants and image generators to AI-native search engines, coding tools, and business automation platforms. Every entry is written with one audience in mind: people choosing an AI tool for the first time who need a clear, honest answer fast.
Why we exist
“Empower everyone to understand AI tools and make informed choices.”
The AI tool landscape changes every week. Vendors launch, reprice, rebrand, and occasionally disappear. AIpedia's job is to maintain a continuously updated, carefully fact-checked reference so that readers can skip the hype and reach a decision quickly. We publish the same review depth whether or not we have a commercial relationship with the vendor, and we show exactly how we rate tools on our review methodology page.
What we cover
- • Long-form reviews of individual AI tools with pricing, features, pros/cons, alternatives, and FAQ.
- • Side-by-side comparisons across 380+ tool pairs so you can settle “X vs Y” questions quickly.
- • A glossary of 230+ AI concepts with plain-language explanations.
- • Ranking and recommendation pages that surface what our editors consider the strongest options, updated regularly.
- • Use-case guides pairing tools to real-world jobs, from content marketing to programming.
How we stay honest
AIpedia is funded by affiliate commissions and display advertising. We keep editorial and commercial decisions separate: affiliate relationships are decided only after a review has been drafted, and a tool's commission rate has no influence on its rating. Full details are on our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure pages. We also publish our review methodology so readers can judge whether our process is rigorous enough for their own decisions.

- • Corrections are acknowledged within two business days and annotated at the foot of the affected article.
