Affiliate & advertising disclosure

Last updated: April 20, 2026

AIpedia is a free-to-read publication. To fund the research, writing, hosting, and maintenance of the site, we earn revenue from two sources: affiliate commissions and display advertising. This page explains both in plain language and tells you what to expect as a reader.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on AIpedia — typically the buttons labelled “Try for Free” or “Visit Site” — are affiliate links. If you click one of those links and sign up or purchase, the vendor may pay AIpedia a referral commission. The price you pay is identical whether you use our link or navigate to the vendor directly.

Each review that contains affiliate links carries an inline Affiliate Disclosure banner at the top of the page. Links that pay us a commission also carry the rel="sponsored" attribute as recommended by Google for this exact purpose.

Which vendors do we have relationships with?

Our affiliate relationships change over time as we add new tools and as vendors add or remove their affiliate programmes. At the time of writing, we maintain relationships with a small subset of the tools in our encyclopedia; the majority are reviewed without any commercial relationship at all. For full transparency, any individual review that contains an affiliate link says so at the top of that review.

Display advertising

Where you see advertising on AIpedia, it is delivered by Google AdSense and similar programmatic networks. We do not control the specific advertisements shown — the ad network selects them based on its own targeting policies and, where applicable, your own settings. We never let advertisers influence editorial content, and we do not run advertorials disguised as reviews.

How we keep editorial separate from commercial

  • Affiliate relationships are assessed after a review has been drafted — we do not change ratings to match commission rates.
  • A tool that offers us a high commission does not receive a higher rating than a comparable tool that pays us nothing.
  • A tool that offers us no commission is covered at the same depth as one that does.
  • We do not delete or soften negative reviews at a vendor's request. We correct factual errors only.

Our full independence rules are documented in the editorial policy.

Our own products

Our founder operates independent SaaS products — MixCast, AIOPulse, and UGCast. These are clearly flagged wherever they appear on AIpedia and are not treated as neutral third-party reviews.
